We have been taking photographs for years. We have a range of experience of portraiture, commercial, creative assignments, weddings and everything else in between. We have opened The Mill Lane Gallery to provide a centre to our business that is not only our studio but also our shop and a space where we can display not only our work, but also that of other photographers and artists.

The Mill Lane Gallery

This is the home and heart of our business. Situated in the beautiful and historical town of Arundel, the gallery provides us with a studio, retail and display space and you, the client with a comfortable and convenient place to discuss your wedding plans or whatever assignment you wish us to undertake. Our studio area is available to you for family portraits or you can relax in an armchair while admiring the work on our gallery walls.

We are open seven days a week and very much look forward to welcoming you. Whether you are looking for a photographer, looking for a frame for a special print or just browsing for a gift, please do visit. (Please note that we are a working photographic studio and there may be times when the gallery is not open. Please call to make an appointment or check that we are open before you leave if you are making a special journey).

The Studio

Equipped with a selection of background and lighting options, our studio is available at a time to suit you. We close the shop and gallery during your appointment so you not only get our undivided attention, but you can also take advantage of our meeting room which becomes your changing area or ‘green room’.

Our philosophy is that informality and fun produce the best portraits; that subjects who are relaxed and know what to expect from a photo-session always take a better picture. We encourage our clients to discuss their ideas with us before the sitting and we will work together to produce the perfect pictures. We will never tell you what you want – we are happy to advise and give our opinions on what we think works and what does not – but ultimately the portraits are yours and we want you to be nothing less than delighted with the results.

We produce individual portraits, small groups, families – including pets. We will typically shoot 250-300 images in a 90 minute session which will give you a huge range to choose from. We can come to you too – your home, your business, your school can become a studio – we can adapt to meet your requirements.

The Shop

We carry a range of frames in all shapes and sizes as well as picture mounts and other display ideas. We also stock a selection of ornaments, household items, books and toys that will delight both children and adults. We have gifts for all ages and every occasion – come and have a browse; we will be very happy to see you.

The Gallery

We produce beautiful images for sale and our gallery is where we display them. Our gallery is also a place where we show the work of other photographers and artists and we are always looking for exhibitors – if you think that your work could form one of our future shows, please do get in touch.
