The Mill Lane Gallery

The lease has ended on Longmace House, the home for the past two years of the Mill Lane Gallery, and for a while at least. we will be working solely on external projects, weddings, nursery photography and commercial projects.

We have been so busy, as our wedding bookings have increased enormously, that we have not been able to devote time to the gallery side of our business and decided not to renew the lease.

We very much hope to find the ideal premises for us in Arundel, in time for next years Gallery Trail.

Arundel Gallery Trail 2010

C&J Willis Photography and The Mill Lane Gallery are looking forward to this year's Arundel Gallery Trail as part of the forthcoming festival.  We  are anticipating a a very busy time as visitors come to the town.  Last year we welcomed over two hundred people per day to the gallery to enjoy the artwork and to purchase one of the stunning original pieces on show.

We are delighted to be exhibiting work from (amongst others) Peter Iden, Eric-James Mellon, Davina Unwin & Jon Everitt.  We are also very pleased to be giving Chichester-based scupltor Lesley Petty her Gallery Trail debut -as well as featuring our own work for the first time.

We will be open each day of the trail - private views are available - please call to arrange.

Leigh-On-Sea

Work commitments have kept us from revisiting Leigh-on-Sea in Essex for their art trail - so unfortunately we can't report on this year's event - but would still encourage you to visit the site of one of our favourite exhibitors from 2009:

Find Howard Robinson at www.thehowardrobinsongallery.com

Arundel events

Arundel Castle continues to delight visitors with their historically themed events - many of which we have covered - and the resul;ts can be seen in the gallery section.  Contact the castle directly for up-to-date information.

Arundel 10K 29th August

Are you a runner? Fancy a challenge?  Then the Arundel 10k is for you...  I've done a few races over the years, every distance from 5k to Marathon and MANY 10k events.  Arundel 10k is the toughest I have EVER done with a climb that just doesn't end... But the scenery is great and the whole event is a real pleasure. Honestly - and I will be running again this year.  You can enter online at www.ukresults.net (£9) or register by 9am on race day (£10).
